Introduction to the Parasternal Window
In this post, Tommy explains how to find the parasternal window. You will learn how to hold the transducer, how to position the patient, where to put the transducer and how to manipulate it in order to find the optimal position. As you will see, it is important to start at a cranial position close to the sternum and to move caudally from there. This post is probably most interesting for people with little experience in echocardiography. Enjoy!
